At Merschman Seeds, we added additional components to our seed treatment. Starting Line, sees the addition of Heads Up®, providing defense against white mold, and the other is Starting Line Plus which is not only Heads Up but also Saltro for SDS and Trunemco, the only dual mode of action against soybean cyst nematodes.
Heads Up Seed Treatment has season-long effects against white mold. When put on the seed, it will come in contact with the embryo, then continually creates an enzyme in actively growing tissue as the plant grows and develops, ultimately giving the soybean plant the ability to defend itself all season. Heads Up was developed for white mold but also shows season-long activity on Sudden Death Syndrome, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, and Fusarium, because of the enzyme in the actively growing plant tissue.
Heads up combined with Tripidity ST allows Heads up to work better and more consistently the way it is supposed to. Heads Up needs a food source on a cellular level to be able to do its job better, and Tridpidity ST provides that missing piece that other seed treatments do not have.
