Merschman Seeds Partnerships and Community Support

We are always happy to give back to the community and support vital organizations. This is why we partnered with University of Iowa Football and University of Illinois Football programs to create the Merschman Seeds Quarterback Sack Program. For every Iowa Hawkeye Quarterback Sack, Merschman Seeds will donate $150 to University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, and for the Fighting Illini Quarterback Sacks, $150 donation will go to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. Check out the video below!

Each year, the West Point, Iowa community comes together for the West Point Sweet Corn Festival. On the Wednesday before the Sweet Corn Festival, the corn gets dumped on our property and everyone shucks about 35,000 ear of corn. It takes less than an hour because so many people join in!
